About me

About Me

My name is Adam, I am an experienced mechanical/manufacturing engineering professional specializing in mechanical design & drafting, mechanical analysis, optimization, design for manufacturing/assembly and project management. I have a mechanical engineering technologist diploma from Sheridan College as well as an undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Manufacturing Engineering (Dec. 2011). On top of these accomplishments I am currently going through the application process with the PEO to obtain my E.I.T. status and ultimately obtain professional engineer designation.

Upon graduating from Sheridan College in 2006, I have maintained continuous employment in the aerospace industry, specifically in the avionics sector. Furthermore, in 2008 I decided to upgrade my skills by attending McMaster University on a part-time basis while still maintaining a full-time employment workload in the aerospace industry. During my professional career I have worked closely with engineers and management which has enabled me to expand upon my technical, analytical and managerial skills. My innovation and ability to deliver results is proven by my track record of successfully completed projects of which I was the lead mechanical designer. Examples of my projects include a real-time monitoring ‘black box’ currently in use in 737-800 commercial aircrafts as well as a ruggedized 10.4” primary flight display unit for AW139 helicopter simulators. I have extensive mechanical design experience with electro-mechanical packaging, sheet metal and multi-axis machining part design, cabling design as well as thermal management. Additionally, I have experience with process optimization (engineering / manufacturing) and lean manufacturing implementation in a high paced technology environment.
